ENGR 103 is Baller

Because of ENGR 103, I have decided to continue taking Spanish (and to minor in it), I plan to study abroad, and I plan to work with EPICS. I signed up for an EPICS course next semester and I'm so pumped. I'm also way more open to traveling to different places. I'm going to China for New Years and I can't wait!!!!! Before this class, I'll admit that I was probably a little bit racist against China. I would've never gone there for fun (sorry I really hope I don't offend anybody). Even my family is freaked out that I'm going because they don't trust the government. But because of this class, I've realized that a lot of information presented by the media is very skewed and biased. I've now identified China as somewhere I'd really like to go! I never thought that I'd have the opportunity to go to any Asian country, and my friend from Shanghai invited me so I jumped at the opportunity. I hope that I get to learn more about China when I'm there because, as I've realized, I don't know much about it. Because of this, I'm very thankful that I was placed in this learning commuity. Additionally, I've made some really great friends who I know I'll stay close to for the rest of college and beyond. I can't really think of anything this learning community didn't provide me with, except maybe free money and/or tuition. hahaha I'd love that! Love you all! :)

engr103 last blog assignment

In this class we went through engineering cultures in different countries. In the future, we may apply this knowledge when we work in foreign countries and collaborate with people from different cultures. Also, the community gives an opportunity to make friends faster. I have three same classes with students who are also involved in the community. In other word, I meet them eight hours a week. Another thing I liked in this class was GELC activity arranged by instructors. I almost attended every event that we had so far. At the beginning, I was doing it just for earning extra credits. Then I started to like it. We had interesting times playing bowling and billiard, having free pizzas.

I am not planning to study after finishing Purdue. But I would like to take some foreign languages. I prefer to take German. One of the main reasons of that, German engineering has a great reputation.

The dead week.

The dead week is finally here. I'm glad to have this week because I need to study for my finals. We never had such long time in India to study for the finals. I planned to study this weekend too, but ended up doing nothing. On Saturday I had the Purdue Di Shaan's (Bhangra group) try outs and after I was done with then I had a severe body pain. :p Anyways I do not have much to write about this time. To this end I just want to mention that I enjoyed doing blogging all this semester ans I'll be missing this english class a lot. I still remember when I first came to this class, the first thing that I mentioned to Prof. Veronica was "I am really bad at writing and so I hate it too". Now at the end of the semester I have a completely different thinking. I wold like to mention that Prof. Veronica, you completely changed my style of writing and now I have no more writing fears. I'm glad. :)

Have plans of studying abroad!

I have had experiences with Engr 103. This class gave me a global engineering view of the world. It motivated me to try for the study abroad. I plan to go to Germany. I mentioned this in my earlier blog too. I know German and that's the best part. Actually not only Germany, but I can even try going to Spain.Next semester I plan to work may be on my German skills or take a Spanish class.
In class I made really good friends. Everyone was friendly and I also hangout with some. I enjoyed going to this class. I loved the presentations and socials too. It was real fun.
