Funny Experience

I'm pretty sure probably everyone forgot something at home or wants something new shipped here to Purdue. My roommate fits in that category. He is constantly looking everywhere online to find new clothes or find something for our room. He stumbled upon Sears online and started to brag about getting three Ralph Lauren Polo's for about forty bucks. If you didn't know, one shirt from Ralph Lauren can cost up to one hundred dollars, so you know he was going to buy them. He pressed the submit order button and checked his mail everyday. He finally got an email saying that he has two packages downstairs. He runs down and comes back with a huge smile on his face. You would think that three shirts would come in one box. He opens the first box and a nice white polo was in it. He then opens the second box and just sits there. He pulls out a small purple tank top for girls and says what the hell? I busted out laughing. The wrong box was sent to him, so he decides to write a long complaint to Sears. He gets a call the next from a manager apologizing for the inconvenience. It might not be funny to everyone, but I thought it was hilarious.

  2. haha! This was really awesome. Might have been one of the most memorable moments for both of you.
By the way the Ralph Lauren deal was pretty decent. Dude! one shirt costs for about hundred bugs and getting it for forty bugs will of course make you struggle for it first. It will not be that easy lol. What did he do with the tank top now? Was it returned or is he still struggling to get the rest two laurens?
Paying 100 bugs sounds much easier to me rather than writing longessay like emails to the manager! :p (Jayne)

  3. This is absolutely hilarious. The mail here is awful, even though I know it was probably Sears' fault. My mom has been trying to overnight me packages (like my dance shoes and medicine...REALLY IMPORTANT!)and they still haven't arrived. It's been like a week and a half. Needless to say, he's not the only one having problems with getting things sent to him.
