FUN during the break !!!

wow! Today I finally realized that the break has come to an end. I had so much fun during these four days. The best part was my trip to Chicago. I left for Chicago on Friday, immediately after my 131 class. That day, even the engr 131 class was interesting, may be because of the excitement that overwhelmed me. The most funny part about the trip was that I had to go walking to the Greyhound bus stop to board the bus. Although the scorching heat killed me, but it was worth it. There was so fun to come. My purpose of going to to Chicago was for shopping. I am a shopping freak. I have bought plenty of winter clothes for myself. :D
It was a two day trip, so I missed the chance of riding on the roller coasters. But next time I'll surely ride them!!
I returned home(my dorm) on sunday. I must say that the trip to Chicago was really refreshing. It has given me the energy to bear all the classes during this week till the next weekend.
I am sitting in Lawson and now I need to rush for my math class. Boiler up guys! Have a great week! :)

  1. I loved this post! All of your posts are so fun and happy! I bet you got so many cute clothes and Chicago is a great place to go shopping. There are so many stores. Will this be your first winter with snow? If it is, then good luck! Snow is great when it is pretty and sparkly and white. It is also great up until winter break, but then after that it gets bitterly cold and it is just annoying!. It will be fun though and you should have a lot of fun. Definitely, go sledding and play in the snow. Indiana winters can be brutal, but you just have to tough it out. It is so good that you have winter clothes. My uncle's family lives in Texas. He sent his daughter (my cousin) to college at Iowa State (where it is absolutely freezing) with no winter clothes! You seemed prepared though! :)

  2. It's interesting that you were excited during the ENGR 131 class before. I think you were feeling a phenomenon called "graduation goggles", a term coined by the "How I met Your Mother" series. If you're wondering what is means, here's a quote from www.howimetyourmother.wikia.com : “[Graduation goggles: ] explained by Robin to be a feeling when someone is about to part with something that they thoroughly detested”. If you still have no clue about what I’m talking about, have a look at the “Exploding meatball” episode of how I met your mother. You’ll have a more thorough explanation as to what this phenomenon is all about.
Also thanks for reminding me that I have to buy winter clothes. I have a feeling I’ll be shivering a lot during these coming months. In fact I’ve come here equiped with only a sweater and one thick jacket. I had no idea that to survive a winter here in Indiana you would have to buy other winter clothing such as boots, gloves, etc. Apart from that I think that seeing the whole campus covered in a thick layer of white snow and ice would be worth the troubles.

  3. Roller coasters? In Chicago??? where? Well, I bet shopping was fun, but next time you head up there, you should check out some of the museum~ they're pretty well known. Also, there are bus tours of Chicago that talk about its history, which can be interesting. Glad you had a good fall break!
